In 2012, as my final project before college graduation, I created a stop motion animation called “Hazard”. “Hazard” addresses themes of psychoanalysis, id and ego, while also nodding to environmental issues. The piece was shown alongside other graduating senior from multiple disciplines as a final celebration and exhibition of what we learned. I taught myself stop motion since it wasn’t part of my animation curriculum and was mentored by my animation teacher who encouraged me to pursue this medium.
